Obituary
Loving daughter of the late Asher and Omeda Combs Athy. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Eugene McNutt Jr. Devoted mother of Laura Candace Hannah, and Phillip Bart (Lisa) Hannah. Proud grandmother of Jacob, and Riley Hannah. Dear sister of Clarine Athy, Laura Perkins, Asher Athy II, and Robert Glenn Athy. Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Attended Beattyville Grade School;Graduated from Lee Couny High School in 1954; Elementary Grade School teacher in Frankfort, Kentucky for many years; Graduate of Eastern Kentucy University in 1958; Served in the U. S. Marine Corps.Wilma was the first female Marine to break the sound barrier in flight, and the first to hold the post Flight Clearance officer.
