It is with great sadness that the family of Willis "Sam" Johnson, Jr. announces his passing on Saturday, October 10, 2015, at the age of 59. Willis will lovingly be remembered by his wife Kelly Jo; Parents, Willis Melvin, Sr. and Margie Johnson; his son Andy (Christine) Johnson; step-daughters, Mandy (Dani) Garrison and Molly Leathley; Stepson, Brady Leathley; He will also be remembered by his sisters, Colleen (Geoff) Craig and Melissa Johnson; brother, Josh (Jodi) Johnson; Willis had three beautiful granddaughters, Senika Crawford, Rowan and Alison Johnson whom he adored; He had many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that will remember him dearly. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Morgan Johnson. Willis was employed at Ahresty Wilmington Corp. for 26 years, where he made many great friends. He loved to golf, play his guitar, and watch the Bengals play. His wit and humor will never be forgotten. Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 5-8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, OH 45107. A funeral service in Memory of Willis will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery.
