William Eli McGrath of Loveland, OH. Born on February 28, 1927 in Hartford, CT. Went home to be with the Lord on December 28, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Cynthia (nee Slocum) McGrath, the late Louise (nee Hagermayer) McGrath and the late Charlotte (nee Farlow) McGrath. Loving father of Sheila (Bob) Stebbins, Sandra (late Tom) Allen and Scott (Shari) McGrath. Father-in-law of the late Wendy McGrath. Proud grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, John Henry McGrath, 3 brothers and one sister. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. William proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 19, 1 PM at Epiphany United Methodist Church, 6635 Loveland Miamiville Rd., Loveland, OH 45140.
