William Kenneth Peters, 85, of Mason, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2016. Born on October 7, 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio to Clayton Peters and Mamie (nee Dudek)Peters. He was the beloved husband of Gladys (nee Bland) Peters; loving father of Laurie Jo (David) Lamb; step-father of Brian (Jenny) Clark and Becky Jane Vliege; proud grandfather of Brittany (Ben), Heather, Christina (Taha), Ricky, Cody, and Angela; great-grandfather of Sophie, Leah, Mason, Penelope, Noah, Aiden, and Gavin; dear brother of Robert Peters and Virginia Henry; he is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Mary Ellen O'Brien; brothers, Clayton Jr., Jack, and Edward; sisters, Betty and Jean. A funeral service will be held at 12pm on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 SR 28, Goshen, Ohio, where friends will be received from 10am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio.
