William Samuel Gumm, 65, of Blanchester, Ohio passed away on October 21, 2018. He was the beloved father of Kristi Bates, Jennifer Brott, Kim Carter, Travis Gumm, and Ronald Gumm; proud grandfather of Joshua Bates, Ashlie Collins, Bradyn Landrum, Evan Olden, Cameron Brott, Rory Brott, Jessica Carter, Kaylee Carter, Benjamin Carter, Madison Gumm, and Maddox Hodson; dear brother of Mary Burns, Bridgette Pickard, Vivian Huey, Deborah Botts, Patricia Prater, Gary Gumm, Dewey Wright, and Vincent Wright. William was preceded in death by his son, Jason Gumm; parents, Ray and Goldie Furnish; sister, Maria Vissering; brother, Merle Gumm. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery.
