William "Bill" Matt Runyon of Goshen, OH., formerly of Barbourville, KY. Born on June 10, 1928 in Bryant Store, KY. Died peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of the late Katherine Louise (nee Mills) Runyon. Loving father of Gary (late Nancy) Runyon, Karen (James) Rains, Dale Runyon, Mark (Sandy) Runyon, Denise Runyon and Dennis Runyon. Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of JB Runyon, Wayland Runyon and the late Cecil Runyon, Rose Abner, Marie Partin and Bertha Mae Proffitt. Cherished son of the late Steve and Mary Liz (nee Lewallen) Runyon. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Bill proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 1 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service. Rev.
