William Kreiner, known to friends as "Bill", passed away on April 22, 2020, at the age of 87 years after a hard-fought battle with lung cancer.
A native of Cleveland, and a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University, Bill put his degrees in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration to great use working throughout the United States as a Project Manager. He spent most of his career with The Boeing Company of Seattle, WA, then with Bechtel Incorporated of Houston, TX. His time with Bechtel included work on the Alaska Pipeline.
Upon retirement, Bill spent much of his time enjoying his favorite hobbies. He read voraciously, exercised without fail, and loved watching his Ohio State Buckeyes during college football season.
Bill is survived by his wife of 29 years, Carol (nee Bray), sons Eric Kreiner (Meghan), Dr. Thane Kreiner (Steve), and Dr. David Kreiner (Atsuki), as well as step-sons Steven Walsh, Patrick Walsh (Sara), and step-daughter Colleen Fantini (Nick), and his many loving grandchildren.
No public services will be held.
