William "Bill" Hixson, 60, of Midland, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. Born on September 28, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of Raymond and Beverly (nee Lawson) Hixson. Bill was the beloved husband of Valorie (nee Houze) Hixson; loving father of Mysti Hixson, Calleigh Hixson, William Hixson, Jessica Hixson, and Robert "Fish" Hixson; proud grandfather of ten; dear brother of Lisa Drake and Lori Brison; cousin of Jimmy Kuhnell; son-in-law of Lynn Houze; also survived by many friends and loved ones. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Art Hixson. Friends will be received on Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 4 to 8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio 45107. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery.
