Wayne G Jones Sr. of Loveland. Beloved husband for over 73 years to Florence Wilkinson Jones. Devoted father of Judi (Steve) Eubanks, Wayne (Linda Hood) Jones Jr. and Michael (Rita) Jones and the late Paula Riffle. Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren. Dear brother of the late Barbara DuBois. Wayne passed away Friday February 7, 2013 at the age of 94. Wayne was born on March 3, 1919 in Morestown, Vermont. He attented Montpelier High School, where he met his wife Florence, and later graduated from the Bentley School of Accountingin Boston, Massachusetts. Wayne served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1941 until 1945. He and Florence were married on May 30, 1940. Wayne loved sports an was an avid bowler and golfer into his early 90s, when illness forced him to stop.Wayne enjoyed doing taxes each tax season for family and friends. He also loved to read, play cards and watch TV game shows. We will remember Wayne for his incredible memory and the quick wit he maintained til the day he died. Friends will be received at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland, Ohio on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM., where services will be held on Friday February 14, 2014 at 10 AM. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations in Wayne's memory may be directed to American Diabetes Association.
