Wally Bennett of Amelia. Beloved husband of Barbara N. (Block) Bennett,and of the late Rosemary Bennett, dear father of Thomas W. (Donna) Bennett, caring brother of Roger (Barbara) Bennett, Alice Mawdsley, and of the late Sammy Bennett, proud grandpa of Jakob, Joseph, and Jeffrey Bennett. Nov. 24, 2007 at age 79. Wally was a 21 year veteran of the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard. He was a member of St Bernadette Church, The Moose Lodge of Port Clinton and the Masonic Lodge of Port Clinton, Ohio.
