Vona Mae (nee Hofer) Bales of Loveland. Wife of 54 years to the late David M. Bales. Loving mother of Lori Bales, Lisa Boys, and Leah (Ed) Alten. Cherished grandmother of Hannah (Mike) Opinski, Sarah (Frank) Kivuyo, Olivia Boys, David (Karen Ren) Alten, Jacob (Jenna) Alten, and Andrew (Lauren) Alten. Great grandmother of Georgia Mae Cleary-Budge, Micah Salvatore Opinski, Msafiri Uhuru Kivuyo, Willow Sophia Taylor, Laina Ann Alten, and two great grandchildren on the way. Sister of the late Cloa Garrett and Nona Moats. Passed away October 7, 2022, at the age of 84. Donations, in Vona's name, may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati or to the Loveland Women's Club.

Vona made every gathering big and small a festive celebration since she loved to have family and friends around her. In the spirit of Vona's love of a party, we will celebrate her life this Friday, October 14th 2022, at Bishop's Quarter in Loveland (2nd floor), from 12 noon to 4pm. Please join us to celebrate our mother's life and raise a toast with her family and friends.
