Virginia (nee - McCauley) Wyles born in 1913 in Cynthiana, KY, peacefully passed away, June 24, at Lebanon Country Manor. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon H. Wyles; 2 sisters, Edith Farley and Josephine Colvin; 4 brothers, William, Ernest, Marcial and Manville McCauley; her parents, John Thomas and Emma Meyers McCauley. She was the devoted mother of Winifred Michael and Phillip Wyles; loving grandmother of Jennifer Cox and Christopher Michael; great grandmother of Logan, Nathan and Katy Cox. She was the last living member of the 5th generation of the original Thomas McCauley, who came from Maryland with 3 children to settle in Harrison County, KY, in 1818. He bought land on Beaver Creek, the same plot where Virginia was born. Fifth generat Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Presbyterian Church.
