Rahn, (Virginia) Jean, nee Pelstring. Beloved wife of Edwin (Sonny) Rahn for 68 years, married on September 5, 1947. Dear Mother of David, Jeffrey (Barb), Paul, Laura (Paul) Merchak, Karen Rahn, and their sweet dog, Molly. Proud Grandmother of Allison (deceased), Paul, Kim, Alex, Brittney, Kelly, Peter, Katie, Zach, Rachel, and Michelle, and Great-Grandmother of 9. Died on August 26th at 89 years of age. Jean & Ed graduated from Holmes High School (Covington, KY), class of 1944. Jean was a graduate of the Christ Hospital School of Nursing as a member of The Cadet Nurse Corps, class of 1947. She was a lifelong member of the Presbyterian Church and currently member of the Sycamore Church. Jean was also a 50-year member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, among many other activities. Jean was a most compassionate person and touched the lives of so many and will be most greatly missed. Jean has made a unique contribution to the advancement of medicine by donating her body to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.
