Virginia Rachford of Blanchester. Beloved wife of the late Richard Rachford, dear mother of Roger (Helen) Rachford, Arlette Harcourt, caring sister of Violet Frazer, Arlette Hempen, and of the late Shirley Wolf, and loving grandmother of Joey Rachford, Desiree (Andy) Batsche, Jason Rachford, and great grandmother of Taylor Rachford, Megan Rachford, Caleb Rachford, A.J. Batsche, and Annie Batsche. Nov. 21, 2009 at age 91. She was a member of the Blanchester American Legion Post # 179 Women's Auxiliary, and President for over 20 years. She was also a Charter member of the Blanchester Eagels Aerie # 2222, where she was treasurer for over 43 years.
