Vernon C. Finke, 79, of Maineville, OH passed away Friday, May 6, 2022, at Christ Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Vern was born on November 27, 1942 to the late Vernon E. and Carolyn (Mack) Finke in North College Hill, OH where he resided for 64 years before moving to Maineville, OH. Vern was a University of Cincinnati graduate and a retired Information Systems pioneer, working at Western and Southern Life Insurance Co. for 40 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Montgomery. Vern had many passions in life but none greater than his family. He was a super fan of his grandchildren attending their sporting events and performances for more than 25 years. On June 13, 1964, he married Carol Jeanne Connelly at St. Vivian Catholic Church in Cincinnati, OH. Vern is survived by his loving wife of nearly 58 years, Carol Jeanne Finke of Maineville, OH; two daughters, Christine (Doug) Klueh of Loveland, OH; Kimberly (Steve) Saunders of Loveland, OH; four grandchildren, Austin and Abby Klueh, Jake and Brie Saunders; two brothers, Tim (Shirley) Finke and Rick Finke, and sister, Sandy (Dale) Braden. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249 on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. Family and friends will be received following the mass for a lunch reception at Heritage Miami Bluffs Clubhouse, 1477 Heritage Blvd, Maineville, OH 45039.
