Loving wife of 64 years to Ernest Russell New. Dear mother of Charlene (Terry) Holmes and the late Roger New. Devoted grandmother of Heather Lynn Stotler, David Roger New and Jacob Russell Holmes. Proud great grandmother of Ian, Hannah and Blake Stotler. Beloved sister of Maxine Young and the late Dorthy Nevels, Ova Denney, Lonnie Tucker, Myrtle Hill, Ardith Stephenson and Tildon Correll. Loving mother-in-law of Carina Vogt.Died peacefully at her home on March 13, 2010 at the age of 81. Devoted member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
