Van C. Nianouris passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Van was born on August 3, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to Emmanuel and Susanne Nianouris. He graduated from Westland High School in Galloway, Ohio, and went on to earn his degree from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky.
After college, Van moved to Cincinnati, where he built a successful career in sales within the floor covering industry, spanning more than 45 years. He retired in 2024 from Engineered Floors LLC.
Van was active in the Cincinnati community and deeply enjoyed racing his Porsches, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. He was a longtime and devoted member of the Porsche Club of America, where his passion for cars and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts thrived.
Van is survived by his daughter, Madolyn, and his son, Jonathan, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; his longtime friend, Lynn Hanlon, also of Cincinnati; his brother, Eric Nianouris of Charlottesville, Virginia; and many beloved cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmanuel and Susanne Nianouris.
A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, from 1:00–5:00 p.m. EST at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Van's memory to Hospice of Cincinnati , P.O. Box 633597, Cincinnati, OH 45263-3597.
