Mertes, Val J. of Loveland. Beloved husband of Jeannette Mertes for 63 years. Dear father of Marsha (Brad) George and the late Mike Mertes. Brother of Betty Horak. Dear grandfather of Breanne Brusman, Erin Prindiville and Tina McGowan. Great grandfather of Michael Brusman. Val worked for Cincinnati Milacron as project time estimator engineer for 45 years.
