Troy David Maret, a cherished husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on June 3, 2026, in Wilmington, Ohio. Born on August 26, 1967, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Troy’s life was marked by unwavering commitment to his family and the many lives he touched throughout his years.
Troy is survived by his beloved wife, Lyndsay Maret. Children: Troy David Maret, Jr., Heather (Derek) Lanter, Justin Maret, and Kristin Huston. His devotion extended joyfully to his grandchildren, Olivia, Emerald, Alyson, Ethan, and Blair, one more little one on the way, who held a very special place in his heart. Troy also leaves behind his loving mother, Sharon Maret, and his brother, Jeff Maret, who are left with treasured memories of his warmth and kindness.
He was predeceased by his father, Charles Maret, and his brothers, Mark Maret and Charles Ray Maret, Jr.
Family and friends will be received at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on June 10, 2026, followed by a funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m.
Troy's legacy is one of love, compassion, and steadfast dedication to those he held dear. His presence will be profoundly missed, but the imprint of his life endures in the hearts of family and friends who were fortunate to know him. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort all who cherish him.
