IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Travis
Light
November 27, 1991 – February 20, 2024
TRAVIS PAUL LIGHT, devoted partner to Courtney Grove; loving father to Landon, Xander, and Millie, beloved son of Jody Burns-Light and the late Paul Light; cherished brother to Ricky (Christy) Niefield, Jill (Heath) Webster and Rachel Light; loyal nephew, uncle, cousin and friend.
Travis passed away unexpectedly at the age of 32 on February 20, 2024.
He was an incredibly responsible and hard working young man who took pride and purpose in providing for his family. Travis sought to create a comfortable life for those he held dear. He truly loved his family and wanted to ensure their well-being.
Travis loved anything with wheels and a motor. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, lawn mowers, it didn't matter, as soon as he was big enough to hit the gas and steer, he wanted to make it go! He also loved the outdoors. One of his favorite places in the world was a big hillside in Sardis KY, affectionately known as 'The Land', and this was a place for camping, 4-wheeling, target shooting, cast iron cooking and late night campfire camaraderie under the stars.
He will be fondly remembered and missed dearly.
Travis absolutely loved trees. Please consider planting one in his honor. Alternatively, you can make a donation to a nature preserve, park or forest in his name.
A memorial visitation will be on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Tufts Schildmeyer (1668 State Route 28, Goshen, OH 45122) from 2PM-4PM. His memorial service will follow at 4PM.
