Thomas leaves to mourn his passing, his wife of 56 years Thelma Tolley Horn, one brother, Eugene Horn, and three sisters, Orene Horn Kidd, Dorothy Horn Yauch, and Mary Ann Horn Woolum. He also leaves many neices and nephews, as well as a host of friends and neighbors.He was preceded in death by his son Timothy Wayne Horn on March 17, 2000. Also preceding him were his parents William and Ethel (Hagood) Horn, three brothers Truman, Robert, and Dewitt Horn, as well as three sisters Ella Roberts, Ruth Yentsch, and Helen Horn. Four years service in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War
