Thomas Walter Switzer of Goshen, OH, passed away on August 13, 2025, at the age of 80. Tom was born on February 13, 1945, in Cincinnati, OH to Walter and Edwin Switzer.

Tom was the beloved companion of Patricia Sands and husband of the late Gayle (nee Kahny) Switzer and the late Theresa (nee Winn) Switzer, loving father of Tommy (Kim) Switzer and Scott Switzer, proud Pappy of Hannah Switzer, Thomas Switzer, Becca Switzer, Owen Switzer, Lauren Switzer and Zach Switzer, caring great-grandfather of Kingston and Kinlynne Switzer, Ashling Switzer and Hudson Marquis, dear brother of the late Jim Switzer, cherished son of the late Walter Thomas and Edwin (nee Weiss) Switzer. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Tom loved his garage and spent a lot of his time working on everybody's cars. He rebuilt hot rods and loved antique cars.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 7 PM on Wednesday, August 20 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 7 PM.
