Loving husband of 42 years to Priscilla (nee Gaines) Poynter. Caring son of the late Joseph and Lousie (nee Davidson) Poynter. Dear father of Christopher (Ami) Poynter, Jason (Heather) Poynter, Jeff (Amy) Broglin and Sugar (Martin) Serrato. Proud papaw of David, Christian, Haley Poynter, Gunnar, Abigail, Gabrielle Broglin, Jessica, Austin Williams, Dulce, Coco-Lilly Serrato. Beloved brother of Joseph (Kathy) Poynter and the late Donna Vale. Tom was a 1965 graduate of Blanchester High School. Served in Vietnam in the U.S. Air Force and received the Bronze Star. Driver and a manager for UPS in Southwest Ohio. In 1985 he started as a Manager with Airborne Express and ended his career as Senior Vice President of Ground.
