Obituary

Thomas H. Kline passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1947, in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Harold and DaLea Kline.

After graduating from Mansfield Senior High School in 1965, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country with valor and pride for almost seven years.

After being honorably discharged, Tom enrolled at The Ohio State University, graduating in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He taught in the Madison Local School District for 33 years.

Tom enjoyed playing video games, reading and watching Science Fiction, listening to music, and sharing his incredible knowledge of American History. Most importantly, he cherished his time spent with family.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his two sons, Rob (Holly) and Kris (Laura); three grandsons, Max, Mario and Alex; and his sister, Judy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in his heart. Annie, his very special canine companion, misses him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Patty, and brother, Dan.

Tom lived his life fully, honestly and kindly. Because he touched numerous lives in his life, this Dr. Seuss quote seems appropriate to share. "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."

A gathering of friends and family to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, October 14th, in Loveland, Ohio. Specific details will be provided soon.

In his honor, donations may be made to www.StandUptoCancer.org
