Thomas H. Gray, age 84, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his wife of 65 years, Bridget (Romano), children Lori (Cloyde) Paddock, Allyson (Dennis) Stacey, and Tom (Kim) Gray, grandchildren Kelley (Anthony) Chaffin, Katie (Michael) Gordon, Bri, Samantha, and Joseph Stacey, Lindsay (Nick) Piening, Ashley (C.J.) Bateman, and Thomas Gray, great grandchildren Kaleb and Julianne Gordon, and Stella and Tripp Meyer, and cherished pet Snickers. Tom was preceded by his only brother Ronald Gray. Tom was born in Ravenna, Ohio. He was an outstanding quarterback for Ravenna High for four seasons (1949-1952). Tom became head equipment manager for the Bengals in 1968 when Paul Brown formed the team. Tom was with the Bengals for 33 years before he retired from the NFL. Tom had a passion for golf, and he worked part time for O'Bannon Creek Golf Club in Loveland, Ohio. He loved traveling to the beach with his family and sunbathing at the pool. He was a bright, positive influence on everyone he met. Family and friends will be received from 4-8 PM on Thursday, December 19 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday, December 20 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249.
