On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Thomas William Domhoff, loving husband and father of three, passed away from COVID-19 at the age of 70.
Tom was born on July 2nd, 1950 in Covington, Kentucky to Christian and Flora Domhoff. Growing up, Tom spent most afternoons and evenings playing outside where his athleticism and passion for football shined. After graduating from Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, Tom earned a football scholarship from the University of Kentucky. He graduated in 1972 after starting at tight end for three years.
He later worked for more than 30 years as a sales representative and divisional manager for Alcon Surgical where he received many accolades and awards. His most proud accomplishment, however, was marrying the love of his life, Donna, on February 22, 1992. They raised three children together: Ben, Ti and Paige.
Tom was known for his infectious laugh, his selfless and generous nature and his ability to make everyone feel special. However, to anyone who was fortunate enough to know Tom knew him for his true passions - faith & family.
Tom was preceded in death by his father, Christian, and mother, Flora. He is survived by his wife, Donna, his three children, Ben, Ti, and Paige, his brothers Rev. Ron and Joe, his sisters, Sue and Cathy, and his 19 nieces and nephews. There will be a private, family-only, viewing on Thursday, January 28, 2021 and a celebration of his life on July 2, 2021 at his home.
