Thomas Franklin Cox, 72, of Fayetteville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Continental Nursing Home. He was an Army Veteran and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He loved coon hunting and basketball, but most of all, he loved his family. Thomas was the beloved father of Tomi (Kevin) Tapley and stepfather of Danny White; proud grandfather of Mallory and Benjamin Tapley; dear friend of Rose Holt; brother of William Cox, Earl Cox, Elwanda Evans, Lily Cox, Anita Lewis, and Audrey Cox; uncle of many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Martha Mae (Neal) Cox; sisters, Hazel and Nancy. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Tipton Cemetery in Irvine, Kentucky.
