Thelma Mae (nee Hawthorne) Tedrick of Wilmington, OH., formerly of Blanchester, OH. Born on May 5, 1923 in Blanchester, OH. Passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late William "Bill" Dean Tedrick. Loving mother of Sharon (Gary) Tieben of Leo, IN., Judy (late Steve) Tweed of Lilburn, GA., Bill (Joyce) Tedrick of Loveland, OH. and Susan (Ritchie) Taylor of Wilmington, OH. Caring grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 1 late grandchild. Proud great-grandmother of 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alberta Trochelman, Mary Etta Richards, Carl Hawthorne and the late Earl Hawthorne, Raymond Hawthorne and Joan Stivers. Cherished daughter of the late Forrest Earl and Carcinnia (nee Whitacre) Hawthorne. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. In her later years, Thelma enjoyed playing cards with friends at Cape May. Services will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, where friends will be received from 1 PM until the time of service. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 10, 11 AM at Second Creek Cemetery, Blanchester, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Thelma Tedrick to the Second Creek United Methodist Church, 5436 Overlook Dr., Milford, OH 45150 Rev.
