Thelma Jean Cooper, 80, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on August 3, 2023.

Born May 18, 1943, in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Clarence and Gladys (nee Vance) Smith.

She was the beloved mother of Jackie (Mark) Blevins and James Cooper; loving grandmother of Doug Andrew, Amy (Keith) Goldschmit, Andrea (Beau) Blankenbeckler, Helen Cooper, Chloe (Jeremy) Kimberlin, Stephanie (James) Montgomery, Heather Blevins, and Adam Blevins; step grandmother of Kenny (Kelly) McFeron; proud great-grandmother of 21 and great-great-grandmother of five; dear sister of Anna Maxfield.

Along with her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Cooper; Brother, Gene Smith; nephew, Steve Maxfield.

The funeral service for Thelma will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Westboro Cemetery, Jefferson Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Thelma's name to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt. Orab, OH 45154.
