Terry Fritz, a proud veteran of the United States Army, went home to be with the Lord on July 9th. He passed away surrounded by his loving family.

Terry was the devoted husband of over 52 years to Linda Bradley Fritz. He was the loving father to Becki (Eric), Chad (Sheree), Carrie (Rob), and Sarah (Rocky) and a second father to Kim Langston. He was the greatest grandfather to Shelby (Shaun), Ty, Sydney (Brandon), Ryne, Trey (Carly), Cole, Trent, Cailey, Peyton, Brody, and bonus grandfather to Jess Frey, Mackenzie Reece, Ryan Walker, Keeley Rainone, Carson Rainone and Keaton Rainone. Terry shared a special relationship with his great grandson, River, and was also great grandfather to Eli, Gia, and Callahan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucy Fritz and sister Peggy Burnett. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Terry was born on December 25th, 1947 in Mariemont, Ohio. He grew up in Loveland, Ohio and graduated from Loveland High School in 1966. Growing up in Loveland he enjoyed his time with Steve, Gary, Ralph, Dickie, and Sonny. At the age of 21, Terry enlisted in the United States Army and in 1969 he served as a door-gunner in the Vietnam War. He valued his service in the First Calvary and was honored with the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Army Commendation Medal. In 1972 Terry began his career at Ford Motor Company. He and Linda raised their family in Milford, OH. Terry loved coaching and watching his kids play sports, as well as doing yard work and bird watching. He closely followed the Cincinnati Reds and spent many years attending Bengals games as a season ticket holder. In 2005, Terry retired with 33 years of service. His most cherished times were those spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. They all inherited his witty sense of humor, his love of fishing and spending time with those he loved and cared for.

Friends and family will be received on Sunday, July 14th from 6-8 pm, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr. Loveland, OH. His funeral will be the following morning at 11am officiated by Revered Ted Stevens. Interment will take place at Union Cemetary, Loveland, OH. Pallbearers for Terry will be Ty Amann, Trey Amann, Trent Amann, Ryne Fritz, Brody Sehlhorst, Rob Amann, Rocky Sehlhorst, and Eric Brown.
