Teddie "Ted" Martin Thomason of Batavia, OH. Born on October 14, 1926 in Rockcastle County, Mt. Vernon, KY. Died peacefully at his residence on Friday, December 2, 2016, exactly 12 years from the passing of his beloved wife, Mary Maxine (nee Miller) Thomason. Loving father of Darrel (Carol) Thomason, Lynn Corwin, Sharon (Don) Mason, Joe Thomason and Tim Thomason. Caring grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Hobert Thomason, Minnie Stewart and 11 late brothers and sisters. Cherished son of the late Martin and Maggie (nee Doan) Thomason. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends and a long time family friend, Marge Hale. Ted proudly served in the United States Army during World War II. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment with military honors, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Pastor Kenny Castle of Bethlehem Baptist Church will be the minister for Ted's services.
