Suzannah Louise McCord Woelkers of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away peacefully on February 24, 2024, with her daughter by her side.

She was born on January 23, 1937, to Frank and Nancy McCord, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Suzannah met the love of her life, Gerald "Jerry" Woelkers in 1968, who affectionately called her "My Love" almost from day one. They married in 1970, moved to Atlanta Ga to set up their household and start their life together. Suzannah enjoyed a career in interior design, where she and her partner successfully owned and operated Showcase Interiors. They moved to Punta Gorda, Florida in 1999 and sold real estate with Coldwell Banker for many years until both retired in 2022. Anyone observing Suzannah and Jerry together would comment that they were a "perfect match".

Suzannah loved traveling with her friends and spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She could be found sitting on the floor coloring, playing cards or crafting with the children. Her favorite colors were blue and yellow, she loved making jewelry and giving special gifts to her friends and family members. She enjoyed good wine, champagne, food, and being among family and friends. And most importantly, Suzannah had a strong faith and loved Jesus.

Suzannah was a devoted mother to Suzannah Louise (Keith) Fussell and the late Scott Dickston. Loving Grandmother ("Mugsie") as her grandchildren called her. Jason Shuman, Katie (Kyle) Fussell-Rushing, Cassie Shuman, Michelle (Charles Michael) Dickston Berg, Jeremy Dickston and the late Amanda Dickston. Great-Grandchildren LilyAnn Frost Shuman, and Kingston Scott Fussell. Beloved Sister of Nelda Sheafer and Sister-in-law Evelyn "Evi" Banzhaf McCord, Brother-in-law Robert "Bob" Brakvill , Brother-in-law  William "Bill (Carolee) Woelkers. Proceeded in death by brother Lawrence B McCord, Sister Maribeth McCord Brakvill, and Brother-in-law Sandy Sheafer, Suzannah is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held at Tufts-Schildmeyer Funeral Home 129 N. Riverside Dr Loveland, Ohio 45140 on Saturday, March 2, 2024, with visitation 9:30am until the service at 10:30am. Graveside Service at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Evendale, Ohio

A celebration of life will be held at a later date at "New Life in Christ Church" Punta Gorda, Florida.
