Susan Elaine (nee Lykins) Young of Hillsboro, OH, passed peacefully on August 26, 2025, at the age of 69. Elaine was born on January 15, 1956, in Cincinnati, OH to Stuben and Margie Lykins.

Elaine was the beloved wife of 23 years to Ollie Clifford Young Jr., loving mother of Margie Ann Young and step-mother of Tahana (Antonio) Ramirez and Tosha Cortes, proud grandmother and great-grandmother of many, dear sister of Mildred (John) Gibson, Sherry Lynn Knuckles, Gregory (Wanda) Lykins, Eddie Ray (Anna) Lykins, Sheri Ann Gredig and the late Jessie Wallace Lykins, James Curtis Lykins, Don Lykins and Jawanica Dopel, cherished daughter of the late Baron Stuben and Margie (nee Feltner) Lykins. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and many dear friends.

Friends will be received from 12 Noon to 1 PM on Tuesday, September 2 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 1 PM. Pastor Phil Hopper officiating. Tufts Schildmeyer Cremation Services caring for the family.
