Susan (nee Briney) Weaver, 62, of Blanchester, died peacefully at home on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 10:20pm with her husband and children by her side. She was born January 29, 1953 in Bardstown, KY to the late Edgar and Ann Marie Briney. Susan graduated from Bethlehem High School and attended Eastern Kentucky University where she met her husband Scott Weaver. They were married in Bardstown on April 21, 1979. Susan was mother to two sons, Daniel Grant and David Scott. She was active as a volunteer at Butlerville Elementary and Little Miami Jr. High while her sons attended. She later became an employee of Meijer's for 13yrs. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Joseph Allen. In addition to her husband and sons, she leaves behind brothers, Edgar Lawrence, Ronald Eugene (Mary), Roger Alexander; sisters, Harriet (Curt) Elmore and Kay (Roy) Comley-Riley; two sisters-in-law Mallory Grammer and Pam Stewart; brother-in-law, Brian (Rhonda) Weaver; Mother-in-law, Bonnie Weaver; numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends. Friends will be received Friday, June 12, 2015 from 6-8pm and Saturday, June 13th from 11:30am to 1:30pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 1:30pm with Pastor James Koerber officiating. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery.
