Susan Fields Pfledderer passed away May 20, 2011, with family by her side, at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati following a brief illness. Susie was born to Donald James and Jeannine Pike Fields in Richmond, Indiana on February 27, 1951. She graduated from Short High School in 1969 and attended Ball State University. She was a florist for many years in the Liberty, Richmond, and Eaton areas. She most recently worked at Dillard's in Richmond. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her loving fiance', Keith Bourne of Liberty; her two beautiful daughters and their spouses, Kristie and Simon Doran of Beaufort, South Carolina, Michelle and Justin Goen of Villa Rica, Georgia; six grandchildren, Hudson, Grant, and Jackson Doran, Mollie, Hannah, and Caroline Goen; her mother and stepfather, Jeannine and Lloyd Mattocks of Santee, South Carolina; her devoted brother and sister and their spouses, James and Ellen Fields of Mason, Ohio, Tina and Scott Medalen of Indianapolis, Indiana; two nephews and their spouses, Kenneth and Katie Fields of Lebanon, Ohio, Kyle and Lauren Fields of Waynesville, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald James Fields; stepmother, Jocelyn Fields; and a sister, Debbie Fields. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Liberty American Legion Auxiliary Post 122 or the Whitewater Valley Marine Corp League, Richmond, Indiana.
