Steven Arthur Steinbeck, 82, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on July 3, 2024, at his home, surrounded by family.

He was a faithful member of the Blanchester Church of Christ and the Blanchester-Marion Township Fire Department.

He was the beloved husband of 60 years to Fairy Steinbeck; father of Karen (Mike) Shaw and Jason (Lori) Steinbeck; grandfather of Nathan (Katie) Shaw, Erik (Devon) Shaw, Heather (Beau) Hamilton, Scott Steinbeck, Timothy (Brittney) Smithson, Ashley Smithson, Bethany (Mike) Hoffman, and Kaitlyn (Logan) Johnson; great-grandfather of Carson Hall, Elizabeth Shaw, Connor Shaw, Eleanor Hamilton, Kegan Smithson, Bailey Smithson, Bradlee Smithson, Bodee Smithson, Lena Hoffman, Lucas Smithson, and George Johnson; brother of Juana (Kenneth) Smith; brother-in-law of Jean Steinbeck and Ed (Peggy) Huffman; uncle of Jaclyn (Jeremiah) Schmedt, Angela Beltran, Logan Schmedt, Clinton Smith, and Vince (Beth) Huffman.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Steinbeck and Erma Copeland; brother, Gary Steinbeck; niece Michelle Huffman.

The funeral service for Steven will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at the Blanchester Church of Christ, 911 Cherry St, Blanchester, OH, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, Ohio.

Military Honors will be given by the Blanchester American Legion, Post #179.
