Steve D. Sowder, 51, of Goshen, Ohio, passed away at home on August 16, 2021. He is survived by his mother, Doris Lewis; siblings, Joyce McFarland, Shelia Slone, Patricia Coffey, Jim Sowder, Rhonda McFerron, Stephanie Sowder. Steve was preceded in death by his father James Sowder; brothers, Roger Sowder and Ricky Sowder; step father, Elmer Lewis. A visitation will be held from 11am to 12pm on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, Ohio. The funeral will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 80 Maple Dr, Mt Vernon, KY 40456, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Memorial contribution may be directed to Vision Matters, 838 Old 122 Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036. Interment will take place on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Roberts Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, Kentucky following the funeral service.
