Stephen E. Bond was born May 3, 1950. He died unexpectedly at the age of 75 on August 18, 2025, at his cabin in Gatlinburg, TN, his most favorite place.

Steve is survived by his wife, Karen (nee Lewis) Bond of 53 years, and his sister Karen Moore; also survived by nieces and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Nicholas Stephen Bond and his parents, Ernest and Edna (nee Brickwood) Bond.

Steve attended school in Wyoming, Ohio, then for a couple years in Buffalo, New York area. When he returned to Ohio to complete his high school years, he attended Princeton High School where he became a member of Shipmates of "68." This group of friends still get together frequently each year, and they were all very special to him.

Steve requested a private burial and no memorial. If you wish to make a remembrance in his memory, he requested donations to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockdale Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
