Stanley Aaron Hill, 86, of Blanchester, went to be with the Lord on July 12, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 64 years 10 months to Beatrice (nee Florea) Hill; loving father of Don (Betty) Hill, Dan (Minerva) Hill, Becky (Hill) Singleton, and Bob (Carol) Hill; Proud grandpa of Monica, Lynn, and Amber; Proud great-grandfather of Jonah Aaron and Rio Ryan; Brother-in-law to Freda (nee Tollner) Hill; uncle to many nieces and nephews; He leaves behind numerous friends and family. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents David H. and Alberta (nee Shumard) Hill; three brothers, David S., Harry A., Charles E.; one sister, Imogene (Hill) Caster; Nephew, Dale E. Hill. Stanley was stationed in Okinawa while honorably serving his country in the Army. He retired from Cincinnati Milacron after 43 years in quality control. Stanley was an elder at Church Christ for many years and in his later years was very involved as a member with Allensburg Church of Christ. A few of Stanley's interest included woodworking, gardening, and mowing. Funeral services will be held Friday July 18, 2014 at 10AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, Ohio 45107. Friends will be received Thursday July 17, 2014 from 4PM to 7PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home.
