Shirley M. Striblen, 86 of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away July, 31, 2015 at Continental Manor. Shirley was born in Brown County, Ohio on May 25, 1929, the daughter of Clarence and Carrie (Binkley) Jordan. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Duane Dean on September 3, 1963; first husband Robert Dean Jr., on December 26, 1991; Sister, Phyllis Dean; Brothers, George Binkley, James Jordan, Donald Jordan, Stanley Jordan, and Sidney Jordan. She was the beloved wife of William Striblen; Loving mother of Roni (Dwight) Reynolds, Judy Hearn, Larry Dean, and Terry Dean; Loving sister of Mary James; Dear step-mother of Lois Ann Peterson and Kenneth (Barbara) Striblen; Proud grandmother of five; Great-grandmother of seven and great-great-grandmother of one. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at 1pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main Street, Blanchester, Ohio 45107, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ohio.
