Shirley Mae (nee Sturgill) Martin of Pleasant Plain, OH., formerly of Milford, OH. Born on January 18, 1938 in Harlan County, KY. Entered into Eternal Rest on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the age of 77. Beloved wife of Louis "Skip" R. Martin and the late Archie H. Anderson. Loving mother of Archie (Michelle) Anderson Jr., Jim (the late Teresa) Anderson, Dave (Jinky) Anderson and the late Connie J. Schaefer. Caring grandmother of 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson. Dear sister of Bob Sturgill, Jim Sturgill, Jack Sturgill, Charlotte Parks, Janice Rhymer and the late Leroy Sturgill and Judy Taulbee. Half-sister of Mose Sturgill and the late Thea Sturgill, Omi Sturgill and Mary Sturgill. Cherished daughter of the late Isom and Vera (nee Collins) Sturgill. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of service. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Pastor Phil Hopper will be the minister for Shirley's services.
