In Loving Memory of Sheila G. Walter
July 2, 1946 – October 23, 2026
Sheila G. Walter, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on October 23, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Sheila was a loving mother to Wendy (Joe) and Brent (Christina), and the devoted longtime love of Garry, with whom she shared more than 30 wonderful years.
She was a proud grandmother to Kristen (Eric), Lauren (Zach), Megan (Justin), Madison (Elliott), and Lexi, and a loving great-grandmother to ten precious children: Vivian, Hailey, Julianne, Carson, Jake, Camryn, Ava, Brody, Dean, and Emerson.
Known as “Sheshe,” Sheila was truly the life of the party. She had a special gift for bringing smiles to others, making people laugh, and turning ordinary moments into unforgettable memories. Her fun-loving spirit, infectious personality, and love of a good time made her a joy to be around. And if you knew Sheshe, you probably knew her signature song, “Bust a Move,” which was sure to bring a smile to everyone's face. She was loved by so many and will be remembered for the happiness, laughter, and love she brought into their lives.
Sheila was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bernice and Eris, and her twin sister, Sharon. Her younger brother, Barry, was lovingly by her side when she passed, a special comfort in her final moments. May we celebrate the beautiful life she lived, treasure the memories she leaves behind, and carry forward the love and laughter she shared with us. Though she is no longer with us, the love we shared will remain forever in our hearts.
