Sharon L. (nee Hoppe) Ward of Goshen, OH, went home to be with the Lord on November 7, 2024, at the age of 80. Sharon was born on December 15, 1943, in St. Louis, Missouri to Russell and Ruth Hoppe.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Clarence "Cliff" Earl Ward; two sons, Michael Ward and Daniel (Sarah) Ward; three grandchildren, Grace Ward, Keira Ward and Parker Ward, two brothers, Paul (Mary) Hoppe and Allan (Joan) Hoppe; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Ruth (nee Schiele) Hoppe.

Sharon was an elementary school teacher for over 25 years, predominantly at Goshen Local Schools. She was a gifted seamstress, quilter, baker, cook and a lifelong traveler. She was a faithful member of the Presbyterian Church and strong follower of the Lord. Sharon was the most amazing grandmother and dedicated the last 18 years of her life to helping raise her grandkids, enjoying time with friends and being a caretaker for Cliff.

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Friday, November 15 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Friday. Rev. Kevin Waters officiating.

Interment will take place at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen Township, OH.
