Sharon Eva (nee Parker) Volk of Loveland. Beloved wife of 35 years to David Volk. Loving mother of Benjamin Volk. Daughter of the late Ross and Emilia Parker. Dear sister of Pamela (Kenneth) Frisch, Ross Parker and Carol (Michael) Liveston. Cherished friend of many. Passed away September 16, 2018 at the age of 60. Sharon was a 1976 graduate of Troy High School then went on to earn her B.S. in Elementary Education at Wright State University in 1980. She was a teacher at St. Columban School for 15 years and also worked for Lens Crafters for 15 years. As a volunteer at Moeller and St. Columban, she ran vacation bible school and the R.C.I.A. program. She also enjoyed sewing, cooking, needlepoint, photography, traveling, writing and story telling. Friends will be received Friday, September 21 from 5-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 22 at 10:30 AM at St. Columban Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
