Sarah Ellen "Seddie" (nee Howard) Thacker of Goshen, OH. Born on April 8, 1929 in Estill County, KY. Went home to be with the Lord on January 9, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Ray Thacker. Loving mother of Rhonda (Dave) Gabbard. Caring grandmother of Adam (Nini O'Kiersey) and Laura Bell. Proud great-grandmother of Camden Bell, Asher Gabbard and Kellan Gabbard. Dear sister of Hazel Wiseman, Anna Allen, Effie Moore and the late Edith Johnson, Leoma Woosley, Mary Johnson, Lucille Webb, Clara Johnson, Junior Howard and Earl Howard. Cherished daughter of the late Uncas and Birdie (nee Hawkins) Howard. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 10 AM - 12 Noon at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will immediately follow at 12 Noon. Bev Allen will be reading scripture and having prayers followed by an invitation for others to share their memories. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
