Sandy "Raccoon" Herron (nee Baldwin), age 87, of Burnside, KY and Cincinnati, OH was born April 15, 1934 in Symbol, KY to Charlie and Grace (nee Fullington) Baldwin. She passed away peacefully Thursday, July 22, 2021 in Goshen, OH. Beloved wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Herron. Loving mother of Robert "Bob" Reynolds, the late Rhonda (nee Reynolds) Hensley and two angel babies. Cherished grandmother of Jesse (Tina) Reynolds, Kristen Hensley, Abigail (Abraham) Aguilera, Molly (Ryan) Resendes, Danielle Vinsant and Erin (Ross) Flannery. Proud great grandmother of Logan Hilderbran, Abbey Hilderbran, Mariah Reynolds, JT Lawrence, Preston Reynolds, Macy McRoberts, Gabe Aguilera, Xavier Markos, Kinlee Singleton, Alexandria Flannery and Margo Resendes. Special friend of Hazel Abbott, Charlene Jones and Sister Sexton. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings Marie, Jr, Mable, Al, Lille, Bill, George, David, Nancy, Anne, Bob, Coy, Eldin, Ernest, Stella, Margaret "Maggie," Moddie Mae and 2 angel siblings. Sandy was affectionately referred to as "Raccoon" by her family. She loved many things including The Lord and church, her family, puzzles, sewing, drawing, frogs, Neosporin cream, sunshine, singing, praying and praying with others, TBN, Cracker Barrel, KFC and birds. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 27 from 5-7 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, OH 45140 and also on Wednesday, July 28 from 10-11 AM at House Rawlings Funeral Home, 510 E. 4th St., London, KY 40741, where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. She will be laid to rest at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in East Bernstadt, KY. Donations, in Sandy's memory, may be made to Heartland Hospice.
