September 15, 1948 – February 24, 2025
Sandra Lee Goodwin, 76, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed peacefully at her home into eternity with Christ Jesus on February 24, 2025.
She was born September 15, 1948, in Spokane, Washington to the late Clayton A. Randall and Shirley E. (Conrady) Randall.
She graduated from Eureka High School, Eureka California, class of 1966. Throughout her working career, she advanced through clerical positions, office management, and administrative assistants, to heads of several engineering firms. Sandra was a member of Dove Church Wilmington.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Deboard in April 1996, and two step grandchildren, Corin Goodwin and Zeke Goodwin.
Sandra is survived by her husband, David Goodwin, whom she married July 18, 1997; her two children, Mike (Sherry) Speaks of Shelton, Washington and Gina Speaks (Brad) Eshler of Waynesville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Tyler Speaks and Zach Speaks of Shelton, Washington and Nathan Eshler and Ryan Eshler of Waynesville, Ohio. Also surviving are three stepchildren, Jeff (Becky) Goodwin of Traverse City, Michigan, Brad (Erika) Goodwin of Wilmington, Ohio, and Sarah Goodwin (Adam) Ross of Middletown, Ohio; five step grandchildren, Aubrey Goodwin (Bobby) Reischman, Sterling Goodwin, and Eli Goodwin, all of Traverse City, Michigan; and Emily Goodwin and Gracie Goodwin both of Wilmington, Ohio.
The funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 12 PM until the time of service. Pastor Steve Fricke of Dove Church officiating.
Interment will take place at Blanchester Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Dove Church, 1499 Rombach Ave. Wilmington, Ohio 45177 and/or Community Care Hospice, 1669 Rombach Ave, Wilmington, OH 45177.
