Loving father of Wanda Garner, Phyllis Tarter, Karen (Mike) Schaffer, Vickie (Jim) Laird, Ricky (Cathleen) Burwick, Deborah (Bernard) Bedinghaus, Samuel Burwick and Daniel (Shelly) Burwick. Caring grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Josephine Smith, Reba Phillips, Doris Jones, Donald Burwick and the late Thelma Anspach. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Sam loved music and enjoyed playing his guitar with friends and family.
