Sally Edna DeBord (nee Smothers) of Loveland. Born July 28, 1920 to Charlie and Bertha Smothers (nee Gibson). Went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2015. In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband John DeBord; son Robert Leach; step-daughter Janice Kuhr; grandson Frank Kuhr, Jr; brothers Roy, George and Edward Smothers and sisters Verla Collins and Vic Azbill. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Chris Leach; step son-in-law Frank Kuhr Sr.; grandsons Greg Kuhr and Doug Kuhr and sisters Karen Noe (Jack), Bonnie Broughton and Frieda Mullins. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 24 at 11:00 a.m. in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland, where friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. at Freedom Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, KY.
