Blessed by the Papal Dispensation from Pope Pius XII to the family of Roland Hisserich, Ryan Louis Malsch of St. Louis, MO died on October 23, 2023, in Cincinnati, OH. He was surrounded with the love and protection of his wife of almost 17 years, Jessica Jane Hisserich Brunner Malsch of St. Louis, MO. He is survived in death by his amazing children Ashley Marie, 14 and Kyle Roland 11; his father Ray; his brother Steve, wife Kathy and their amazing children Rachel Marie and William Louis; and his sister Lisa and her husband Jerry. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann and his sister Nancy Kaye. He was so loved and will be terribly missed by countless friends, co-workers, and family.

Ryan graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia (MIZZOU) with a BS in Chemical Engineering in 1999 and went straight to work for Proctor and Gamble as a Chemical Engineer where he stayed for all of his 25 career working years. He was amazingly brilliant on all subjects and holds a US Patent for the Wetness Indicator on Pampers Diapers. He was a huge St. Louis Blues, St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Rams and Mizzou Football fan. He was the most amazing father, the true definition of a good man. Honest, hardworking, brilliant and quiet, he was always there for his children to help with homework, cook amazing dinner, and coach or volunteer for one of their many sports teams. He battled his terrible rare cancer for 3.5 years with his loving wife right by his side, both of them never giving up hope until the very end.

His life will be celebrated in both the cities he and his wife call home:

Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland on Thursday, November 2, 2023, The Feast of All Souls.

9:30 Visitation followed by 10:30 Mass.

Reception immediately following Mass in the St. Columban Parish Hall.
